Three wheelers

Ok, so now we have three wheel cars? Ya that's right. It seems to be a new trend that the eastern hemisphere is trying out. Two of my absolute favorite manufacturers, Morgan Cars and BMW, decided it was time to decrease their tire count.
Amadou Ndiaye of BMW decided that the new i division just wouldn't be complete with only the i3 and the i8, so he designed the three wheeled i1. It is suppose to be like a motorcycle... Only with three wheels and a roof. All the i division cars are electric powered so naturally, yes, the i1 will be too. Each wheel has it's own electric motor. The three wheeler will be made of carbonn fiber to keep the weight to a minimum. With two wheels in the front and one in the back, the front wheels will be on a hydraulic mechanism to allow the driver to tilt around corners. It is still an idea in progress so don't be waiting to feast your eyes on Amadou's three wheeled masterpiece any time soon.
Although BMW has yet to build their tri-car, Morgan Cars has had theirs REBUILT after over 100 years! It is powered by a fuel-injected, 115 horsepower v twin engine with a Mazda 5 speed. For the interior you can have leather. It also comes with stainless steel tailpipes, polished engine, and custom paint. The base price for this car is 40,000 US dollars.
As you know, this is not the first time Morgan built a three wheeled car. First production was in 1909 and 1953. Although only 30,000 were built it won the first Gran Prix in 1913 with a speed of 100mph. This little car can do 0-60 in just 4.5 seconds at an estimated 115 mph.
Would you drive a three wheeler? If Morgan or BMW made it then hell ya. Why not? ;)
